Whats happening to my calls??

Update - couldnt use this at all kept getting error message it wasnt connected or something

I recently downloaded this in hopes of having more features like picture sending and address book that regular Google voice doesnt have. The picture sending is great. The phone calls however are a disaster!!! All calls get dropped and I dont like the confusing interface to make or receive calls. Also when I started using this my regular Google voice app now cant make calls. Not sure why that is but you got to fix. I keep not getting alerts when people ring my Google voice number via this app now either.
