GV Mobile + 3 for Google Voice App Reviews

This is a really great app. Its nice and very functional. It makes Google Voice so much better. The advanced features like voicemail transcription are very nice too. I really appreciate this app and hope that it continues to be developed and maintained.

Ok, so notifications dont work (the test does) and I got Touch ID to work......once. This dev has been making/supporting google voice apps for years and at a premium $3 this is completely unacceptable. These two issues are enough to make me an unhappy customer.

The app still uses basic authentication which requires you to set "Access for less secure apps" in your security settings in Google. The developer needs to use OAuth. Otherwise the interface is easy to navigate and it has the convenience of switching to different accounts. Touch ID passcode lock is a nice feature. Didnt have any crash issues so far, so its fairly solid.

The VoIP does not work and throws an error stating that the incorrect account information was entered, which is not true.

the developers forgot to state you need to sign up with them first so they have access to your account. of course the error is "cannot connect to voip because account not correct or something like that. would like a refund

Cannot recommend at this time. Only works for sms/text messages . VoIP functionality appears crippled as a result of authenitcation issues between this app and google. If you need the VoIP features try somethign else.

App has caused us some pain of missing important calls. It will sometimes log you out without feedback but still let you edit settings so while 1 person thinks they have switched the active phones, the reality is nothing was changed.

Authentication errors make this inoperable… Suggestion >>>> for users that are monitoring more than one gv account … please consider some sort of notification that calls/messages have come in — I often dont realize that Ive even had calls until I switch back and forth between the accounts…

The description says that it supports group texting, but it doesnt. It will let you compose a text and include multiple people in the "to" box, but as soon as you hit send, it converts that group text to an individual text to each person in the "to" box, and so youre not really "group texting" as much as you are sending the same message to multiple people individually. And since its not sent as a group text, when someone responds, the response comes to just you and not everyone else that you included.

Never ever works need refund asap

This version is not working to make voice phone calls multiple people have complained but the support forum has changed and is not a good source anymore.

This used to be the very best google voice app, but it isnt supported enough to keep using. Push notifications are currently broken in iOS9, and that renders Text Messages pretty much useless...

Picture messaging appears to have disappeared and when I tried support page...no longer a valid site. DO NOT BUY THIS APP unless you verify they are still in business and supporting their app.

Missed a few days worth of sms before realizing that the issue is with the app and not Google. Verifying that 2 step notifications work yielded no results. Had to remove app and reinstall it for it to start working again. This has happened a couple of times. Not reliable. Id rather not switch to any competing google voice apps as this is the best designed of the bunch, but if it happens again I will.

Highly recommend! Push notifications, great interface, ease of use!

I love this app. Its worth my money. It works well. I have no problems with calls or notifications.

For the past six months or so its been a constant struggle to get the app to notify me of even just a new voicemail. This is definitely a problem with the app or its server-side component sends notifications used to work fine, I havent changed anything and I set up, in the aft insists that my configuration is correct. This used to be my favorite Google voice app, but it hasnt seen any real updates or bug fixes in far too long. If you cant even be notified of a new voicemail then what use is it? Id look elsewhere for a reliable app.

After paying for and installing, the app opens then immediately closes. I clicked on the support button and the page doesnt exist!! Can anyone help???!!

This app was a two star for many years now it is complete waste of time and garbage. They do not spend any time fine-tuning this app it is very frustrating. Dont bother downloading it until it is fixed.
